My parents are so good at making the effort to attend the kids' events. We love that they came down for Tyler's Jr. Jazz game.
The girls are sporting their cowgirl hats they got from Grandma and Grandpa.
For St. Patrick's Day, the kids had Lucky Charms and green milk for breakfast.
We had corned beef, green mashed potatoes, green finger jello and mint ice cream/brownie/banana splits for dessert.
Emily dressing up like Pink Teddy.
One night I woke up in the middle of the night to an awful burning smell. It turned out that this Rubbermaid lid had fallen down on the heating element of the dishwasher. Yikes!
We had an aft night at the school. The kids did different art activities.

Megan's mask is the brown horse.

Happy Birthday to Darrell!
I wanted to keep this reminder of Tyler being in my 5th grade class. Tyler would be a smiley or a frowny face on the "r" in his name, depending on how he felt he'd do on the assignment. Any "hard" assignment that stressed him out got the frowny face. (He'd add a little curve up at the end of the "r" if he wanted to put a smiley face on it.)
Love my 5th grade team. We dressed up as super heroes for the "RISE video."

We went to Montana for Spring Break. It was my mom's birthday, so we met up at Subway for lunch.
Swimming at the Y with cousins.
The kids had a special gymnastics show and surprise for Grandma.
Kimberly and I secretly texted my aunts to get the recipe to my mom's favorite cake. It's called Mahogany cake and has chopped raisins in it, although you don't really know they're in it.
Another show, complete with refreshments.
(Aubrey, Olivia, Daniel, Emily, Megan and Laura)
A traditional sleepover with Grandma reading a bedtime story to them.
Tyler rocking Aubrey's scarf at church.
Emily on Olivia's crutches.
Sunday family dinner.
A basketball game between Kyle and Tyler. We had cheerleaders and a scorekeeper.
The last day of our spring break was on Monday. The cousins were in school, so the girls went swimming at the Y and a few of us hiked the M. Then the kids played at the new city park.
Emily's kazoo concert.
Emily and Megan's "doll house."
