Tyler and Emily and Megan at Arches' visitor center.
We ate a picnic lunch at the visitor center.

Some of the cool rock formations
We some some petroglyphs along the hike to Delicate Arch.
The hike to Delicate Arch was kinda steep some of the way, but it was totally worth it at the end.
There's not way to tell how HUGE the arch is from pictures or a license plate.
This is from underneath the arch and looking up.

Dinner at Giliberto's
The next morning we headed to Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado. We went through Monticello, UT and got a picture by the temple.
We were disappointed to learn that the cliff dwelling tours were all sold out for the day, so we just had to do with distance photos.

We were further disappointed to find out that Four Corners closed at 4:50 (what?!?!), which is exactly the time we arrived.
We headed to Blanding, UT. We got ice cream at the A & W/Convenience store/bowling alley.
The girls thought the hotel, Four Corners Inn, was a little creepy, but Tyler liked having his own bedroom and TV to watch.

It was a quick, but great fall break. There are so many cool things to see and do in Utah.
