August 2019
Tyler had a scrimmage game. Most of the players on his team had their Cyprus jerseys from last year. Since Tyler didn't have a jersey, we went to buy one at DI. It turns out we bought a jersey for an opposing team in the conference. Poor Tyler got some comments about it, but we didn't know any better. After the game we went back to DI to get a Manning jersey he could wear instead.
We went to the Scera Park for our annual free musical with our Pass of all Passes. We had a picnic dinner and then watched "Disney's Beauty and the Beast."

August 6 is National Rootbeer Float Day and also the day the school posts the class lists.

Tyler's football team participated in a fundraiser car wash.
Later that day he participated in a scrimmage game at the high school. (Tyler's in the black jersey at the bottom front left. His orange cleats were the best way to tell where he was.)
There were activities for the girls to do.
Tyler received his Cyprus uniform the night of team pictures.
The next day was their first football game. Tyler didn't play much. He was on the kick off team.
The parents created an "alley" for the players to return to the field after half-time.
The girls and I bought some Pirates shirts.
We had a ward bbq/party in the green space across from our house. The kids loved the games and activities.
Emily made some EZ Bake cupcakes.
School started August 19.
Me in my 4th year of 5th grade.
Megan is in 4th grade. Her teacher is Mr. Pendleton.
Emily is also in 4th grade. Her teacher is Mrs. Kohler.
Tyler is in 6th grade with Mrs. Parry.
We went to Menchie's that night for a back-to-school treat.

Tyler had another football game. It was an afternoon game on a converted baseball field and it was sooooo hot.
