At the end of May we signed papers with Ivory Homes to have a new house built. The thought to check into looking into buying a used house entered my mind on May 22. We had the paperwork digitally signed and a deposit down by May 30! (We had to act fast because prices were going to go up on June 1.) Anyway, the month of June was all about getting ready to show our house and move.
Our house plan (we're going with the elevation on the right)

And our lot

One of our "gotta get done" things was to go through our bazillion LEGOs. I wanted to give the LEGO sets away as sets, but to do that, we had to first sort all of the LEGOs and then find all of the parts to reassemble them. It was a BIG job that took lots of days (like almost the entiere month) and some not-so-enthusiastic helpers at times, but it was fun to work together. The kids even recruited some friends to help some days.

Emily and I took on Tyler's castle that he got for Christmas when he was 5 years old. It was fun to play with afterwards.

We never could find all the pieces to all of the sets, but here is what we did assemble. So. Many. Sets. (And hours and hours of playing with LEGOs throughout the years.)

Some of our helpers.

We were able to virtually participate in our cousin, Samuel's, birthday via Zoom. He was baptized in a swimming pool.

The kids went to Montana for a few days while we showed the house. Then I went up to be with them.
My parents have a new camping trailer. The kids thought it was fun to climb up on the roof.

I pulled out some of my old toys. Emily liked my "Sunshine Family" and doll house, but Megan thought it was creepy.

Being with cousins always calls for some shows.

My mom was so kind and patient to help Emily, Megan and Olivia make doll clothes for their American Girl dolls.

We were able to get out some instruments and have the kids try them. Tyler was able to get good sound out of a few of them.

Mom, Dad, Tyler, Megan and I did a day trip to Yellowstone Park.
We had a picnic lunch at Mammoth and then walked along the hot springs trails

We went to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.

We also went to see Old Faithful. We were sad to see that the lodge was closed due to COVID, because we really wanted our traidtional Wilcoxson's Ice Cream cone. We were able to get one later in West Yellowstone. It was a quick trip through the Park, but Yellowstone never disappoints!

We made it home for Father's Day. Darrell with Tyler, Megan and Emily

Some of the last times on our playground set that served us well for 10 years.

After 2 years of unemployment and/or part-time jobs, Darrell was finally offered a job with the Unified Fired Authority. We went to his work to see his office.

The kids and I used our Get Out Pass to go to Splash Summit.
