Reunion 2019

We had our annual Hansen family reunion in June.  This is my mom's side of the family.  It's always great to see my aunts, uncles and cousins and catch up.

We went on a hike around "Hell's Half Acre," a trail through the lava rocks north of Blackfoot.

The reunion was held at my uncle and aunt's house in Blackfoot.  They had 2 pools, a big blow up slide, volleyball, tetherball and basketball stet up.  The kids had so much fun.

We always have the yummiest meals that families take turns preparing.

At night they projected a movie onto their house.

This is me with my cousin Matthew. I'm the oldest grandchild and he's the youngest.  He wasn't too sure about me so we snuck this one in while he was enjoying the slide.

Las Vegas and Hoover Dam June 2019

We drove home from California through Las Vegas.

We stopped at a casino to enjoy a buffet.

We stayed at a hotel in Henderson, NV.

The kids enjoyed the hotel swimming pool.

We went to the Hoover Dam.

One thing to remember about this visit is that Darrell' hat was taken in the wind.  We thought is was blown to the bottom of the dam, but later we saw it caught in an updraft, right out of reach.

California June 2019

We always love being with Darrell's mom in California.

Darrell and I were able to attend a session at the Newport Beach Temple.

The purple blossoms on these trees are so beautiful!
