New Halloween shirts (and skirts for the girls) to be worn throughout the month.
Trunk-or-treating at the church two weeks before Halloween. (Tyler, Megan and Emily)
Pumpkin carving 4 days before Halloween. Emily wouldn't get her hands in that "disgusting" stuff, so she just watched, but Tyler and Megan got their hands dirty.
Darrell and I did the actual carving, but the kids told us what to carve. (Megan, Emily, Tyler)
Three days before Halloween the kids came with me to the Young Women Halloween party at the church. I didn't get pictures of the kids, but I did snap one of these cute spooky treats: Vampire teeth and chocolate chips on glazed donuts.

The girls had a Halloween party at school two days before Halloween. Emily was a fairy and Megan went as a mermaid.

At the end of the day, the parents were invited for a costume parade and program.
Megan did a great job singing. Emily...not so much! She just played with her bracelet and kept putting it in her mouth. She DID know the songs, but she is my shy one.
Later that day the kids had a Halloween party at Up With Kids. Here they are getting ready to do their dance with the rest of the "UpSwings" (the little kids class.)

All of the "Up With Kids" kids

Tyler had his Halloween party 1 day before Halloween. (There wasn't any school on Halloween because it was the end of the term.)
Tyler in the school parade as Spiderman. I'm not sure why he didn't have his mask on, but the other to Spideys behind him in his class wore theirs.
I helped with the Halloween party in Tyler's classroom. I ran the "Don't Eat Pete" station.
Tyler being wrapped up in toilet paper in the mummy challenge.
FINALLY Halloween arrived.
Donuts from Dunkin' Donuts. They were "Boston Screams" So yummy!
The kids were SO excited to go trick or treating at Darrell's work that they started getting their costumes on 1 hour before we had to go.
Loading up on the good stuff at Darrell's work.

The annual Jack-o-lantern pizza from Papa Murphy's
Getting ready to go out
Tyler as Spiderman
Megan as a mermaid (Whenever someone asked her what she was going to be for Halloween she would always say, "A mermaid...but NOT Ariel." She's not opposed to Ariel, this was just not THAT costume.)
Emily as Anna from "Frozen."
And they're off with Darrell to get lots of candy.
I think it's safe to say that we did our share of partying this month!
