We didn't get a picture of the kids and Darrell on Father's Day, but he got breakfast in bed with strawberries and fresh cream. Emily made a strawberry cake and I made 7-minute frosting. The girls decorated the cake.
Tyler had the opportunity to participate in a BYU basketball camp. The check-in was at the football stadium. It was cool to see the field up close.

The Emily, Megan and I walked around campus, but it was Juneteenth and pretty much everything was closed.

We had never tried J Dawgs, so we went to the one near campus. It was yummy!
We used our Get Out Pass to go to a trampoline park.
We were able to attend the family reunion for my mom's siblings. I always love seeing my aunts, uncles and cousins.
We spent time at the nearby park, visiting and playing.
My uncle John lives in my grandparents' old house and brought in some things that remind us of them.

John pulled out some old canned pickles out of the cellar and let people try them if they'd like them. I passed, but Emily tried half of one. A few days later John said he would give $50 to each person who ate a pickle. Emily was awarded $25.
We ate 2 yummy dinners at the church.
My uncle John recently retired from teaching high school, so we had a little celebration for him.
Tyler got his braces off. He went through 2 different phases in the last 6 years, including moving his top canines to fill in for his missing lateral incisors.
He's grown quite a bit in 6 years.
The orthodontist gives those finished with braces a caramel apple.

Emily and Megan participated in the Granite Youth Symphony again this summer. They had catch the 7:15 a.m. bus from Matheson Jr. High to go to Cottonwood High School for rehearsals, and then come back again on the bus. It went Mondays-Fridays, most days in June.
They played at Trolley Square, and Tyler and I went to see them.

Emily did percussion.
We used our Get Out Pass one last time before it expired at the end of June to go to Utah Motor Sportspark. Emily was a little nervous to go, but it turns out her Crocs weren't considered "close toed," so she couldn't go. She just took pictures of us.

We went to Macey's in Tooele for ice cream cones. Tyler got this Kong Kone.

Granite Junior and Senior Symphonies played at the Loveland Living Aquarium.
We were able to go to the aquarium after the concert. Tyler and Megan went around with their friends-Jenna and Natasha- but Emily preferred to hang with me.
I had to document Emily and Megan's last day of catching the bus to GJYS.
The Junior and Senior Youth Symphonies and the choirs performed at Taylorsville High School. My parents and my niece Olivia came down for it.
