Montana

The kids and I spent a couple weeks in July visiting my parents in Montana.  The kids took swimming lessons at the Y and enjoyed cousin time.  Here are a few miscellaneous pictures (I'm only 8 months behind), but there will be other posts with specific activities/things we did.

We stopped at a rest area/visitor information center in Pocatello, ID on the way up and saw this peacock.  They think it may have escaped from the nearby zoo.



We went to the Missouri Headwaters State Park where the Jefferson, Madison and Gallatin rivers come together to form the Missouri River. (Tyler, Megan and Emily)



This was a trick that Laura and Kyle put together where a friend "Bob" would answer questions by shaking his head yes or no.  Unbeknownst to the "victims" is that the head was really Kyle's feet that he would move from side to side.  The "clincher" is when Kyle would raise his legs up in the air and pull them toward the unsuspecting person sitting in the chair and would freak the person out when they thought Bob was rising up to get them.
