We had more visitors to our new house. Derek and Tansy came down looking for housing for themselves and brought late Christmas presents from "The Greggy Bunch." The girls loved their new clothes for their American Girl dolls and Tyler loved his new porg.
Megan helped organize and put away our movies.
Emily did the same with our games and puzzles.
Part of the moving process was downsizing and finding places for everything. I lovingly donated two quilts to DI. The flowered one was made by my Grandma Leonardson when I was younger. It was my favorite blanket on my bed to snuggle with it. The striped and polka dot one was made by my Grandma Hansen when I graduated from high school. It was on my bed during and after my college days.
Tyler did Jr. Jazz. Only one person at a time could attend his games due to COVID-19 protocols, so that was a little different.
We celebrated 30 days of reading the Book of Mormon by getting a treat at Cold Stone.
We found these cute pillow for our mud room at "At Home." They're definitely better than the rug Darrell bought to go on the bench. The rug has now found a home by the sliding glass door.
Emily and Megan planned our 3rd annual Super Bowl Party
Megan was the Master of Ceremonies
The agenda:
Football Magformer challenge
I won!
Cup and ball game
Blindfolded drawing challenge (using masks as blindfolds, of course!)
We wrote Valentines to each other.
We ended the night with a scavenger hunt. I love the creativity and energy the girls put into this tradition.
The girls had crazy hair day at school. (Emily and Megan)
