Spring Break in Southern Utah March and April 2021

The first part of Spring Break was spent in Montana, but we were able to visit southern Utah for the second part.

We spent the first night in Green River, UT.  The kids enjoyed swimming at the hotel pool.

In the morning we had a Grab & Go breakfast from the hotel.

Then we headed to Canyonlands National Park.  We were able to use the girls' free national parks pass that got extended into their 5th grade year because of COVID-19.

The views were spectacular.

We had a picnic lunch before heading to Page, Arizona.  We drove by Monument Valley.

We had a HUGE hotel room.  We had to reserve the pool to avoid lots of people during COVID times.

Our breakfast in a bag

We saw the Glen Canyon Dam and got a picture by a very low Lake Powell.

Then we went to Horseshoe Bend.  It was sooooo cool!

The kids were a little freaked out that I wanted to have them get close to the edge for a "great shot."

We didn't find a picnic spot so we just pulled off on the side of the road for lunch.

Then we drove to Bryce Canyon National Park.

We took the park shuttle and walked along the canyon rim.  The formations were so beautiful!

We ate at Ruby's Inn.

We stayed the night at a hotel in Cedar City.  The kids were NOT impressed with how dirty the floor was.  Poor Tyler grossed out having to sleep in a sleeping bag on the floor.

Our hotel breakfast.

We had a picnic lunch at Cove Fort.

We stopped for ice cream at Beaver.

Heading home!  We had a such a great time!
