December 2023

I had a follow up with Dr. Boothe, the radiology oncologist.  He said things looked good and to come back in a year.

We went to the annual Christmas party for the Valley Journals at the Desert Star Playhouse.

We ran into the girls' friend Grace at Kohls.  They went to elementary school together, but they haven't see each other much since then.

We got ticketes to the U of U vs. BYU women's basketball game.  BYU lost, but the ushers didn't really appreciate my BYU swag.

Emily making gingerbread cookies with the gingerbread Squishmallows.

I got this sweet box from a family in my ward with breast cancer swag.

We went to Megan's choir concert.  She sang with the show choir named Perfect Harmony.

The next night we went to Emily's band concert at Matheson.  She plays percussion.

We went to Kneaders afterwards for a treat.

We went to Megan's orchestra concert the next night (yes, 3 concerts in 3 days).  Megan was first chair violin.

Emily didn't feel well and stayed home.  We went to Arctic Circle after the concert.

Perfect Harmony sang at the Tracy Aviary.  It was cold,  but the lights were really cool.

It had been a while since the kids had their picture taken with Santa Claus.

Megan had a dance concert at Matheson the next week. She performed with Dance Company.

The next day Emily's dance class also partcipated in the dance concert.  My mom and dad came down to watch both girls dance.

We ate at Kneaders.

The "Little Leos" came to dinner.

I found these "Whistle pops" from my childhood and shared with the kids.

We went to Tyler's band concert.  He plays trumpet.

We got yummy peppermint shakes at Chick-Fil-A.

Decorating gingerbread houses.  They basically just flopped this year.

Kitty was made into a "purr-rito."

Tyler got some driving practice in while we delivered neighborhood gifts.
