Christmas 2023

We did gingerbread houses.

Tyler had a basketball tournament for 2 dyas.  Here he is getting in his driving time on the way to the 2nd day of the tournament.





We had our traditional "sleep by the Christmas tree" on "Christmas Adam" (the day before Christmas Eve.)

Christmas Eve was Sunday.  I'm not sure where Darrell was when we took this picture at the church.

We had our traditional Christmas Eve dinner-ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, Rhodes Rolls, cherry and lime jellow with whipped cream, pomegranate 7-Up and chocolate Satin pie for dessert.





Emily and Megan helped with the dishes because they think Darrell takes to long to do the dishes, and they wanted to "hurry things up."

For our annual nativity re-enactment, Darrell and I were Joseph and Mary and Humphrey, the Squishmallow hippo, was Baby Jesus.

  

Megan was an angel who frightened the shepherd Tyler.  Emily was a wiseman.

  



We all got new matching pajamas.

Tyler's pajamas were too big.  Hee!  Hee!
