Happy 2nd Birthday Emily and Megan!!

Happy Birthday to Megan and Emily!



We love these two little girls soooo much!

Megan loves singing and dancing.  She spontaneously sings songs and she loves to dance whenever there is music.  She also sings and claps to the "Wee Sing" CD that we listen to (over and over and over again) in the van.  Megan loves to jump and she loves to climb ("plime" as she calls it) on jungle gyms.  She has no fear of falling at all. Her favorite show to watch is Dora The Explorer.  Megan often wants me to hold her and she gives really good hugs.

Emily is a spunky little tease.  Her cognition of the world around her amazes me.  She loves her babies and stuffed animals.  Emily is a Daddy's girl and often wants Daddy to change her diaper when he's around (which doesn't hurt my feelings one bit.)  She loves being funny and has such a cute personality.  She is also strong-willed and can be very emotional when she doesn't get her way.

It's so fun to see the girls' personalities and preferences take shape.  The girls usually get along, although they both know how to push the other's buttons.  They will ask each other if they are OK if the other coughs or falls down.  (For some reason Megan calls Emily "Baby."  She will say, "Are you OK, Baby?" even though she can say Em-uh-ly.)  Both girls love to copy Tyler and it's so fun to see all three of them playing together.  Both girls' speaking abilities amaze me.  I love to hear them talk.



We are so, so blessed to have Emily and Megan in our family.
