We saw more progress on our house on October with the basement being framed.

Emily did swimming lessons at the Fitness Center.

 

We went to Montana for General Conference weekend and had a chance to be with family.

We drove up Butterfield Canyon and looked over the Kennecott Copper Mine.

The kids know that one of my favorite things about fall is crunching leaves.  They made this big pile as we went on a Sunday afternoon walk to a nearby school.

We didn't have a traditional Primary program thanks to COVID, but the girls each drew a picture of what they were thankful for and submitted the pictures to be used in a video that was sent out to the ward. (Emily and Megan)

Our apartment building's October activity was to have someone come from Orson Gigi and do caramel apple decorating with us.  Such a fun activity!

I was pulling into the apartment driveway to use the key fob to open the garage door when I heard a loud scraping/crunching sound.  I had pulled too close to the yellow pole by the key fob reader and scraped our van against it. : (

We got yummy donuts for breakfast for Halloween.

We went to IKEA so the kids could look for things for their new bedrooms. We ended up getting lunch there as well.

We stopped by the house to find sheet rock in. (Emily in her bedroom)

Tyler borrowed my huge hat and was a cowboy.

 

We didn't think there would be very many opportunities to trick-or-treat in our apartment complex, so we went back over to our old neighborhood and the kids went around with friends.  There were some creative ways to hand out candy during COVID.

 

They scored in the candy department!
