November 2020

On November 1 we showed up to find lots of sheet rock in the house!

Megan in her room.

They were also getting ready to stucco the outside.

We stopped at a park on the way back to the apartment and the girls enjoyed rolling down the hill.

We were a little nervous when we drove by the house November 6 and saw the color of the stucco.  This was NOT what we wanted.  We were relieved to find out it was a base coat.

November 7 we found the sheet rock done in the basement.

Our plans

'

Tyler participated in Jr. Jazz, but he could only have one spectator come watch him each game.

Emily's fashion

A made-up game to collect tennis balls without actually touching the tennis balls.

November 12 Shelving and doors in the garage

November 14 Stucco and trim outside and painting inside

November 19

Stucco done, waiting for stone work on the outside

Vinyl floors in the bathrooms and laminate wood floors on the inside

November 21 HUGE bedroom and bathroom doors upstairs and shelves in the closets downstairs

Just remembering Home Church.  We watched Sacrament Metting via Zoom and then had the Sacrament on our own afterwards.

We didn't dare go anywhere for Thanksgiving to avoid getting or spreading COVID so the kids and I went to Logan one day during our Thanksgiving break.

We stopped and saw my cousin Nicole and her cute family.  It was just a doorstep visit, but it was fun to see them. We didn't get a picture earlier and so stopped by later and only got Nicole and Adelynn.

The Logan Temple

Our apartment complex had pie for November's activity.

We watched some of the Macy's Parade and then just hung out Thanksgiving Day.

Darrell and I were looking at appliances and furniture for the new house

Our humble, yet yummy Thanksgiving dinner

It was a tight squeeze, but we all made it around our card table to eat together.

Our Black Friday shopping consisted on stopping by the Ashley Home Furniture store and ordering this sectional for our new house.

Then we drove to Cokeville, WY.  The kids played on the outside playground.

November 28 The stonework is done and the porch and stairs for the porch are in

The painting was done inside the house!

This was the first year we didn't get a real tree.

Not too shabby--but we were definitely missing the scent of the real pine tree. (Emily, Tyler and Megan)
