My parents came down to attend Tyler's Utah program and treated us to Chick-Fil-A.

The kids enjoyed swimming at my parents' hotel.
My parents were also able to attend the kids' soccer game the next day. It was a chilly one.
My parents were also able to attend the kids' Up With Kids production of "Part of Your World: Aerial and Moana's Island Adventure". They bought them each a bouquet of beautiful roses.
Megan was "Medium Moana" and Ebony, a dark mermaid.
Emily was Hela and a mermaid.

Afterwards we went to the annual patient party for our fertility clinic. Let's just say their clientele have grown over the past 11 years. This year's event was at the aquarium. They had so many people sign up that they had us arrive at 2 different times. Here is the waiting line for our appointed time. We weren't sure if we would be able to get in, but we did.

We received a voucher for free tickets to Stars on Ice. We were able to see the participants from the USA Olympic figure skating teams perform. It was really cool.
Tyler participated in the Jump Rope Club performance. It was a very emotional performance. The jump rope club coach had gone home from practice the night before, laid down to rest and died. The kids did every move for their incredible coach--Jen Wood (J-Woo) for the school assemblies that day and the parent performance that night.
We went to Freddy's before the Jump Rope Club performance for a treat.
The girls participated in the end-of-year 2nd grade talent show. I played a piano duet with Megan and Emily showed a picture she had drawn.
Here Emily re-created a scene in the Book of Mormon where King Benjamin is talking to the people from a tower. The people had brought their tents to listen to the words of the prophet.
Darrell, Tyler and I were going to attend the Jordan River Temple dedication together, but Emily got sick. She and Megan were going to go do fun activities at a dear neighbor's house while we were at the dedication. It turned out Darrell and I took turns watching Emily. Darrell went to one dedication session and Tyler and I went to another. Megan was able to still go enjoy some fun activities, including building a sugar cube temple.
The kids always look forward to field day and the firetrucks coming to spray them at the end of the day.

On Memorial Day we went to Golden Spike National Historical Site. It was fun to see some of the things Tyler learned about Utah history this past year. (Megan, Emily and Tyler)

We then drove down the road to see the Spiral Jetty.
The kids enjoyed wading out into the Great Salt Lake. The water was really pretty warm.
