Then we went to Topgolf. It was our first time going, but we had a lot of fun.

We went to Black Bear Diner for our "30-days-of-reading-the-Book-of-Mormon" treat.
It was 30 years on May 11 that I entered the MTC as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ and LatterDay Saints. I can't believe it's been that long! I will be forever grateful for the chance to serve the people in the Spain Barcelona mission.
Emily tripped down the last few stairs in our house as she was coming downstairs to watch a movie. She twisted her ankle. Nothing was broken, but she had to get a boot.
We went to the Empress Theater to see one of my students-Laycee-who was in the musical-Freaky Friday.
Mothers Day 2023
Tyler made me hot chocolate to go with my toast for breakfast and then made me Ramen Noodles for lunch.
Emily insisted on doing dinner because she doesn't like it when Darrell takes over dinner on Mother's Day. She heated up a frozen Stauffers lasagna. It was yummy!
We had a successful Glow Day at school.
We took Zelda to get her 1-year shots.
My parents came down for Megan's dance recital. We ate at Panda Express first.
Emily and I went to the cemetery for Lexi Gould Stafford's angelversary.
Megan was invited to the Best of Matheson awards. She recieved a certificate for being on the Honor Roll and having a 3.5 or higher all year.
Emily and Megan had their band and orchestra concert. My parents weren't able to attend because they were at a tennis tournament.
Megan was first chair violin.
Emily played percussion in band.
We went to Arctic Circle afterwards and tried Blue Monster shakes (or something like that.)
Tyler's band concert was the next night. He played trumpet.
Then we went to A & W afterwards.

On Memorial Day we went to Delta, UT to the Topaz Museum. It's a museum dedicated to the memory of the Japanese Internment Camp at Topaz Mountain (out in the dessert) during World War II. It was pretty fascinating. These camps were nicer than European concentration camps. The occupants had housing, school and work to do, but they were still there against their will and surrounded by a barbed-wire fence.

I got a new work laptop, but I just wanted to remember my old one's stickers.
