Both Emily and Megan were able to "jump" their Bumbos backwards on our kitchen counter, so I decided I'd better put the Bumbos away. They have been wonderful, but mobile girls on a counter make me nervous.
So, we've moved to eating our meals at the table and the girls are now becoming well acquainted with their high chairs. (We were able to find a matching one to Tyler's at a consignment store.)

Here's what else has been happening at our house.
Megan, who has been content to lay on the floor and roll where she wants to go, has started pushing herself up on her hands and knees. She's also doing more army crawling now. Go Megan!

Emily is definitely keeping me on my toes. (I guess I should be glad Megan and Emily are at 2 different stages for right now.) The other day Emily pulled herself up to the dishwasher. After I took away the sticky fork that she had gotten a hold of, she decided to go for a spoon. She was very determined to get it and pulled herself up on the dishwasher. Silly girl!

I had one of our bar stools blocking the stairs so Emily couldn't climb up them. She just wiggled her way through the legs and started up the stairs anyway.

Hopefully the gate will work.

Emily can also pull herself up to stand on pretty much anything now--including the play kitchen set. She has found out a couple times that it can topple over on her once she opens all of the doors.

Tyler loves pushing the girls around in the walker. Here he is with Megan.

Tyler has also had fun with his
train lately. We've found if we put it on the floor in the family room that the girls won't bother him as long as I keep them in the living room.
