Happy Birthday 9th Birthday Megan and Emily!

Emily and Megan celebrated their 9th birthday in California.

They both got Scruff-a-Luvs and had to "wash" them to see what they got.

We went to Target so the girls could spend their birthday money.  Tyler is sporting and adorable tutu! Ha!

We got lunch at McDonald's.

Universal Studios Hollywood June 2019

We had a fabulous time at Universal Studios Hollywood.

We went on the Studio Tour.  It was pretty cool, but since we're not big movie watchers, we didn't really appreciate the sets they showed us.

We enjoyed the Special Effects show (no pictures) and WaterWorld.

Our favorite part was The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

We enjoyed checking out the shops.

We ate at the Three Broomsticks.  Darrell got half of a chicken.  I got the Shepherd's Pie (it was sooo good!)  Tyler and Emily got fish and chips and Megan got chicken fingers and fries.  I LOVED the butterbeer, but I wasn't a big fan of the pumpkin juice. (Apparently Emily wasn't a big fan of the fish and chips.)

Our favorite "ride" was Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.  We went on it a few times.  One time the "ride" stopped in the middle and we just had to "hang out" until they could get going again.
