We weren't able to visit anyone during the holidays, but we kept up most of the traditions as we have in the past.
Christmas Sunday (The Primary gave the girls these nativity cookie cutters).
We were able to participate in a Leonardson family nativity via Zoom. It was so fun to participate in the special story and to connect with family. Afterwards, the kids kinda had a talent show on Zoom.
We walked around "Miracle Cove," a neighborhood near our old house to see the Christmas lights and listen to the music.
My mom sent some ornaments for the kids to make.

We had our traditional "sleep by the Christmas tree on Christmas Adam (December 23). The American Girl dolls got in on the action too.
We made sugar cookies on Christmas Eve Day. Megan, Emily and Tyler Plus, we used one of my mom's old mini cookie cutters for American Girl-sized cookies.

We cozied around our tiny card table for our Christmas Eve dinner.
We acted out the Nativity in a very different way this year. Darrell and I ended up being Joseph and Mary and Torgy, the porg, was Jesus. Megan was the angel who appeared to Tyler, the shepherd, and "Little Lamb," Emily's stuffed lamb. Emily and 2 Americna Girl dolls were the wisemen.
The kids were able to open one present on Christmas Eve. Emily and Megan got matching jammies sets with their American Girl dolls. Tyler got an Among Us shirt.
The twelve days before Christmas we did an advent nativity. We put each piece of the nativity up each night.
"The presents were set [on the couches] with care." (Because we didn't have much room in our apartment, we stored a lot of the presents at the storage unit and had to to get it on Chrismtas Eve Day.)

Sadly Tyler can't enjoy his basketball hoop until we move into our new house.
I took Tyler to a nearby school on Christmas Day so he could play basketball. I walked around. It was a nice sunny day, but no snow to make it a "White Christmas."

The girls enjoyed riding their new scooters around the island in the apartment. Luckily, only the mail room was underneath us, so we didn't have to worry about bothering anybody.

I don't have any pictures, but throughout the holiday break, we went to parks each day to get out of the apartment and to get exercise and fresh air. Tyler played basketball, the girls played on the playground and I walked around the school grounds. We also worked on some puzzles.
