Montana May 2024

We had the opportunity to go to Montana over Memorial Day Weekend.  My niece Aubrey and my nephew Daniel graduated from Beaverhead County High School.

They had a graduation celebration at the city park afterwards.

We went up in the mountains for some ATV fun and a picnic.

Caterpillar!

Derek and Tansy comparing long "sticks" they found.

The sticks were used for a "shelter."

Perler beads

We went to the gymnastics gym where Olivia is an assistant.  It was fun to try out the different things.

Family Reunion 2024

We had a family reunion at a VRBO rental near Rexburg, ID and combined it with a special 80th birthday party for my dad.

We were able to use our Get Out Passes to go to Bear World.  It was way cooler than we thought it would be.

A white elk

Lots of bears

We enjoyed the small amusement park rides and dinousaur park exhibits.

Everyone enjoyed the activities at the VRBO.

An epic game of kickball

The little pond and slide were fun.

The sno-cones were a hit.

Baby Jay was a favorite.

Celebrating Dad/Grandpa was a highlight.

We had games to guess how much things cost in 1944 and how much we knew Grandpa/Dad.  We also shared memories about him.  Derek would say the memory and we had to guess who submitted it.

Aubrey decorated the cake.

His gifts

Greg had fun scrambling the Happy Birthday letters.

There's always yummy food.

Some pictures of the VRBO.  Darrell and I stayed in the "Sun Room."

The fun chalkboard

We went to feed the fish at Warm River.

We stopped at Mesa Falls.

We drove up to the top of Sawtelle.  They had snow there!

We ate pizza at a park for lunch in West Yellowstone.

One of my favorite traditions is seeing a show at the Playmill Theater.  We saw Oklahoma. This is the last year they will be at this iconic location.

The invitation to joing the "players" on stage was fun.

Intermission treats!
