Disneyland Day 2

After a late night at Day 1 of Disneyland, we took the next day easy.  We slept in and didn't get to the park until 1:00 or so.  We brought our lunch and ate in the van before heading into the park.  (A little side note about our lunch.  When we went to the store to buy Lunchables, we noticed there were some with clearance stickers on, so we got those.  It turns out that using the store's card and the clearance prices, the total came to less than $0.00.  The store had to pay us 51 cents to get the Lunchables, which included drinks and dessert.  Pretty cool!)

Eating in the van.

The second day we went to a different part of Disneyland.  The whole park was super, super crowded because it was Friday, July 3--which meant that a lot of people had Friday off for the Fourth of July holiday.  Luckily, not so many people were interested in the places we went--Adventureland, Critter Country and Frontierland.

The kids loved paddling the canoe.  (Excuse the pictures that were taken from the back and side.)

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

Treats--Megan got a big cupcake, Emily got a Rice Krispie Treat shaped like a Honey jar, Tyler got a Mickey Mouse marshmallow treat and I got a Tigger Tail (also a marshmallow treat).

Tigger was so cute with the kids.

Winnie the Pooh (I felt sorry for the characters.  It was such a hot, hot day and they had to take breaks every 10-15 minutes to "got get more honey.")

Emily wanted a picture in this "tree."

On the Disneyland Railroad

We didn't get the best place to watch Fantasmic since the park was SO crowded, but what we saw was fun.

Then we watched the Main Street Fireworks one more time before calling it (another) late night.
