While the Cat's Away...

I am the cat, who happened to be upstairs getting ready for the day.

A certain almost-2-year-old boy is the mouse. He thought it would be fun to take handfuls of wood pellets and distribute them throughout the family room. He was just starting on the kitchen when I heard "something" bouncing on the kitchen floor and came to investigate.

The mouse felt no sense of shame. Instead he ran to and fro over the pellets and then hopped on them like a bunny.

At least he did help me clean up a little bit.

Us

Here's me at 30 weeks (only 7-8 more weeks to go! Yay!) At my ultrasound 2 weeks ago, the twins were each measuring at 2 lbs. 13 oz. The ultrasound technician, the neonatal doctor and my "personal" high-risk nurse who calls me every month were all amazed that the twins measured exactly the same. Usually they are different weights by now.

I tried a bazillion times (it seemed) to get a picture of Tyler in his new Easter outfit--complete with a vest and tie. This is the best I could do.

Here's a good picture of Tyler. (I can't believe how grown-up Tyler looks!)

Here's a good one of Darrell.

All Boy!

Tyler LOVES playing with cars and trucks. Here he is playing with them while I watched General Conference last Saturday. (Notice the remotes in the big dump truck.)

Great Deals

One day this week, while our house was being shown, Tyler and I went to our local children's consignment store. I found some great deals: a double stroller, a high chair (that is exactly like the one we have that Tyler used) and a Bumbo. I love great deals!

The stroller holds both car seats. (Yay!) And Tyler loved pushing the stroller around the kitchen. He will be a great big brother!

Bubble Wrap

Darrell's parents sent us a box with all kinds of goodies in it. Tyler loved running on the bubble wrap and making it pop.

Baby Blankets

It was so nice to be home for a few days and be away from the craziness of showing the house all of the time. Tyler got spoiled having Grandma sing and rock him to sleep each night. And I got spoiled having help with Tyler, relaxing and just hanging out with family.

We were productive in the baby blanket department. Kimberly helped us tie these quilts, and then my mom and I did the rest. (OK, I did a little bit and my mom did a lot.) I think they turned out SO cute.

My mom and I also worked on these flannel blankets. They turned out really cute too.

Cousin Time

Tyler and I went and visited my parents for our very own "Spring Break." Tyler loved being around his cousins. He really looks up to them.

We were able to attend Kyle's 6th birthday party.
