I interrupt my updating to post some recent pictures because: 1) who knows when I'll get caught up on blogging--I still have tons of pictures to get to, and 2) the girls change so much from month to month. What's new now will be history soon.
I love these 2 pictures of the girls!
Emily and Megan

I tried the girls in the Bumbo a couple days ago.
Here's Megan.

Here's Tyler and Emily.

Here's Emily and her super chubby cheeks that are also super "yummy" to kiss.

Megan

Tummy time. (Tyler sometimes feels inclined to join in what the girls are doing.)

Future Baby Einstein addicts like their big brother?

I love when one of the twins will flail her hand right in the vicinity of the other one's mouth. Of course, it must be sucked on!

Look how they've grown!

Some Tyler pictures:
He got a new back pack and he loves it. Here we are returning from getting the mail.

Tyler has discovered a more comfortable way for him to sit on the couch and watch whatever his favorite DVD is at the time. (Right now it goes back and forth between "Dora, the Explorer" and "Clifford, the Big Red Dog.")

We sure love this sweet, little boy.

I was impressed by
this entry by Ashley whose little daughter Preslee died after falling into a canal. She wrote that she wished she would have gotten out "the video camera more frequently" and written "more about every day life in [her] journal." I am trying to be more diligent at those things, so here are a few things about each of the kids.
Megan loves to babble. She and Darrell carried on quite the conversation last night between the two of them. (Darrell swears she was talking about dogs.) She is more mellow than Emily and is more content to lie down when I need my hands free.
Emily's face just lights up with her sweet smiles. She is a mover and loves to kick and splash during bath time. She likes to be held and carried around. She is "winning" in the "most nights slept through the night" category.
Tyler has SO much energy. He loves being outside and going for walks. He enjoys having books read to him before nap time. He can be a little stinker when the girls are getting all the attention, but he also has a sweet side to him when he gently pats the girls and gives out kisses. He used to call both girls "Emmy." Now he calls them both Megan, even when I repeatedly say, "No, this is Emily." Oh well!
