It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Part of what Tyler wanted for Christmas was to go to a Jazz basketball game. He and Darrell were able to go on Star Wars Night--so fun!

Our mortgage company had an Encanto watch party that we were able to go to.
A family in our ward had a dog who had puppies. They were so sweet!
Tyler was on the Matheson Jr. High basketball team, but he didn't get that much play time. We still enjoyed going to the games.
Emily finished 4 months of weekly vision therapy. She graduated to 3 months of home therapy and will be evaluated again. We got Crumbl Cookies as a celebration.
My parents came down to Tyler's band concert. We always appreciate their efforts to make it to all of the special occasions.

Tyler's principal at Matheson Jr. High is Megan Madsen, who was also his kindergarten teacher. It's fun to see things come full circle.
We got treats at Arctic Circle afterwards.
I had to take pictures of Emily's vision therapy papers on the walls and pantry door.
Tyler was able to play in the last home game at Matheson.
Emily was Top Eagle in her class.
We got a ton of snow and Granite School District called a distance learning day. (There wasn't much work assigned really.)

Matheson Jr. High was undefeated for the boys basketball season. They played against Olympus Jr. High. The girls and I were able to make it to the last two minutes of the game. It was an intense game, but Matheson pulled off a 61-51 win. It was fun to be a part of all of the excitement.
We had a chance to go to the 30th anniversary of The Forgotten Carols. It was neat to share this with my family. I have a long history with the Forgotten Carols--from meetin Michael McLean at his house before the release of the original show where he played and sang some of the songs to my roommates and me, to performing in it with "LatterDay Sounds," to singing along with the CD for years!
My parents were saints to once again come down for a performance--this time for Megan's dance recital.
We had a chance to go to Montana for a few days before Christmas. We went to a high school wrestling match while we were there.
The kids enjoyed sledding on the 4-wheeler. Tyler drove and the girls rode in the sled.
It was fun to make and decorate sugar cookies with cousins. (Megan, Emily)

The Leonardsons and the Hawleys practiced for a special musical number for the Christmas program at church.
